Open Question: Black Saks Fifth Avenue clutch purse?
Ok, we found my great grandma’s old (turn of the century? 1930’s?) Saks Fifth Avenue purse. It’s like a coin purse and it is black and beaded everywhere (small black beads). The opening is real gold and has two knobs that you push to open. The inside is black, some sort of soft-ish fabric and written in gold cursive is Saks Fifth Avenue (then it says Made In France). The business manager anticipates a total attendance of 1,350 students and 450 adults, with adult tickets selling at twice the price of student tickets. What is the smallest whole-nuber amount that can be charged for a student ticket in order to make a profit of at least $3,000?
13. On a business trip to Sacramento, Ms. Cooper drove a round-trip distance of 778 miles. It took her 7 hours to get there and 6 hours to return by a different route. If her average rate of travel going to Sacramento was 4 miles per hour less than that on her return trip, find the rate of travel for each part of her trip.
14. Jenny had 3 times as much money as Craig. For doing chores, Jenny got $3 more, and Craig got $6 more. Jenny now has twice as much money as Craig. How much money did each have originally?
