Resolved Question: Need help with editing short story?
Ok, I am writing a short story and I am having a lot of trouble with it. Has a little mixture of the main charactors of Supernatural in it an a idea from CSI:Miami.
Dean is a Top CSI cop at 25. His little brother Sam( who is a CSI forensic cop) is in a hostage situation with 2 other people. THis takes place in the gunroom and the CSI can see everything thats happening in the camera The gunman wants to kill Sam because he has something against Dean. Later Sam gets shot in the side and the gunman says that he needs a jet and money with Sam as his hostage. When the gunman is walking out with a motercycle helmet on, they find out that its not the gunman but the other 2 hostages and the gunman escaped with Sam.
Here it is
I stepped out of the car in a hustle, with tension in my eyes. I quickly walked toward the head detective. “How are the hostages? Sam?” I asked him. “They’re okay. There are 3 hostages, the CSI receptionist a women 42, a man who came to report a stolen car 39, and a CSI forensic cop 21, your brother Sam. The gunman is keeping the hostages in a bullet proof gun room, so we can’t take a shot. The gunman’s name is Seth Liam. Here is a picture of him.” I looked at the picture and recognized it immediately. The man was about mid 30’s, had a French cut mustache, and piercing eyes. “I know him. His younger brother Jason killed his girlfriends family in a fit of rage when she said she wouldn’t marry him and I shot him when he was about to kill his girlfriend. He came here about 2 months age, telling me he would get me back for what I did, I had him thrown out.” I said. Realizing what this was about. “So your brother is the target, Seth has documented history of a conduct disorder, so he has antisocial disorder.” said the detective. Seth could tick off anytime and shoot anybody, especially Sam. Abruptly my cell phone rang, “Surprised to hear my voice.” Seth said with silver edge. “No, I was kinda expecting Paris Hilton.” I couldn’t let him know I was scared, it would give him too much advantage. “Dean, I’ve heard about you, making jokes to stay calm or to keep people calm. You won’t be making jokes when you see Sams dead body.” Seth said with a grinning voice. “You hurt my brother, I swear I’ll kill you.” anger overfilled my voice. “Oh! I’m scared” Seth said with a sarcastic voice. “Listen Seth, this is between you and me let my brother and the hostages go. I’ll exchange myself for the hostages and my brother.” No way I would let Seth kill Sam. “ You think I’m stupid. It’ll haunt you for the rest of your life, your little brother killed because of you. Dean I couldn’t hurt you more than killing Sam. I know a lot about you Dean”. “You don’t know anything about me.”I don’t care what he thinks, he knows nothing about me. “Dean Winchester age 25, your mom was murdered in your house after that your dad became a csi, soon later he was the best CSI cop. Raised you all your life to become a csi and here you are at the youngest age ever, the top csi. Sam winchester age 21 graduated from college at 17, has an IQ of 160. He is a CSI Forensic cop at CSI department. I know more about you, then you think.” I couldn’t believe it, Seth had everything planned out, everything to the last detail, he didn’t even seem like the person who would do that. “Seth what I don’t get is that if you want to kill Sam so bad why haven’t you done it already? Why make this big hostage situation? Questions just swimmed in my mind.”Ok, here’s the thing. I want I jet with 1,000,000 on it and I want it in 30 minutes. No questions, No phone calls if the jet doesn’t exactly on time I start killing 1 person per mistake you make.
I know it sounds very confusing and wierd, but any help would be amazing. I need help on the punctuation, words, anything. I need more exciting words to make the story more exciting. I also need help on the storyline. If you don’t understand something, just ask, I’ll write the reply in the details. Resolved Question: citation from officer and not animal control?
I received a citation around the first part of sept. I was leaving to go to home depot to make an exchange on one item. My puppy is really spoiled and started wineing really bad to ride with me. I went ahead and put him in the car. Earlier that day it had been hot, and had cooled off substantially. I left him in the car and took care to roll all my windows down enough for him to stick his head out, but not to be able to jump out. The area parked in was near a tree and the wind was breezy. I went in an made my exchange and was walking up to the check out when all of a sudden an announcement was made over the intercom about who was driving a silver avalon, they wanted the person to come back to customer service. when I got there they said the police was at my car and did I have a dog in the car, I responded yes I did and all the windows were uniformally down and I just came in to make an exchange and was on my way out until they called me. I proceeded to walk back up front to exit and by the time this whole thing of walking back and forth toolk place it had to have been 20 minutes, I have a total knee replacement and do not walk very fast. I arrived outside and there was 2 police cars and animal control. The officer tore into me and I got offensive and spoke back to him because he was accusing me of intentionally harming my pet, this made me very upset because I love my dog and treat him with love, he is always groomed and goes to the vet for any little thing wrong! animal control could visually see he was taken care of and did not write me a ticket, They also stated the car was 104, but did not show me a temperature gauge and had I was thinling I could have started up the car to check the temp myself, The officer wrote me a ticket! I have to go to court! what do I do, animal control looked puzzled because the officer wrote me up. The office asked me all sorts of personal questions like my social security number and if I had any tatoos! and where I was born. I was not applying for credit and could not understand why those questions were asked. please help!
