Resolved Question: Will the US Mint ever mint gold and silver eagles again?
For the past few years the US Mint has halted production of Silver and Gold eagles due to high demands in Gold and Silver. Will the US Mint ever return to minting Gold and Silver coins? I can see there is a demand for Gold/Silver but it doesn’t seem to be enough demand to discontinue producing these coins. With the demand they may even be able to increase the price and make more money off these coins.

Resolved Question: A serious possibly life changing coin collecting question lol?
I had found a coin in my recently deceased father’s coin collection that had a clearly printed 1787 and the us seal on the obverse and a sunset overlooking a lake on the reverse. Struck with extreme curiosity because i had always been interested in coins i went online. After some research i had found an identical coin with the same strikings on it, a gold 1787 brasher doubloon with EB stamped on the left wing of the eagle on the obverse which it had said there was only 6 to be know left in existence. But on the other hand I had found a site that should a coin that was the same color as mine that was a copper 1861 Robinson reproduction of the 1787 brasher doubloon, the coin i possess looks very tarnished and on the edges and higher parts on the coin it looks as if if you were to clean it it would be gold. But it did have the same color as the reproduction, however, there are some differences between my coin and the reproduction where there where no differences between mine and the original gold 1787 EB Dub loon, worth around 2-2.5 million dollars i read. The differences between the reproduction and my coin are that the EB initials in the eagles left wing on the 1861 coin were in an oval that was embossed on the coin with the letter embossed on top of the oval where as my coin has a relieved (like cut out) oval with the letters EB embossed in the oval? i am very curious to find out more about this coin anybody have any feedback or help they can provide for me anything and everything will be much appreciated thank you,
Joseph Kircher
